Hi, I’m isabel fink!
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas and owner of Rooted and Rising Therapy.
I received my undergraduate from the University of Minnesota-Duluth (go bulldogs!) and my graduate degree in Professional Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of St. Thomas. I have my marriage and family license in Texas and my associate’s license Minnesota (under the supervision of Jill Bias).
Outside of the therapy space, I love to spend my time outside with friends, family, and most importantly, my dog.

My Approach
I bring a holistic and compassionate approach by drawing upon my diverse experiences and comprehensive understanding of human behavior. I employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address the unique needs and concerns of my clients. Together, we can create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions freely.
Clinical Interests
I am dedicated to serving individuals (8+), couples, and families in Texas and Minnesota. I am particularly interested in supporting those who navigate multiple identities that challenge the prevailing norms of our community.
My clinical focus is on creating a safe and affirming space for clients to explore their unique experiences, while addressing the complexities of identity, culture, and belonging in a context that often feels restrictive. I aim to empower individuals by validating their diverse backgrounds and fostering resilience, while also providing tools to cope with the unique stressors they face in the context of life.
Specialties
I take a special interest in emotional regulation, childhood trauma and its impact on current functioning, co-parenting support, and understanding the systemic impacts on individuals and families alike.
By integrating culturally sensitive approaches, I strive to promote healing and growth, helping clients embrace their authentic selves and cultivate meaningful connections.
